Locol Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-09-04
These consumer terms govern your use of Locol, a personal planning app and website operated by Wesley Koot, a natural person and sole owner. Contact: [email protected]. The controller and company details are set out in the Imprint and contact notice.
Using Locol
Locol lets you browse public event information, save events privately, and make personal plans. You may browse as a guest. You must provide accurate information for an account, keep your sign-in details secure, and use the service lawfully. You are responsible for activity on your account and for the content you add to a private plan.
Optional features may include Google Calendar availability, timing, directions, Live Activities, Passport, and private plan sharing when shown in your current app. Calendar access is used only after you choose to connect it and select the calendars and plan action involved. You can disconnect it in Account.
Event information
Event details are supplied by third-party public sources. Dates, times, venues, availability, prices, links, and other details may change or be incomplete. Check the source and the organizer before relying on an event. You remain responsible for your travel, invitations, timing, purchases, and plans.
Plans and sharing
Plans are personal content. When you invite someone, the invite can include the event details and plan information needed for that invitation. Use care when sharing and remove people or content when appropriate.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Locol, interfere with its operation, access another person's account, scrape it in a way that harms the service, submit unlawful or infringing material, or use it to deceive, harass, or endanger someone. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service reliability.
Availability and changes
Locol and third-party event information may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn. We do not guarantee that a particular event, source, route, calendar operation, or feature will always be available. We will handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Ending use
You can stop using Locol and request account deletion in Account → Account & sign-in → Delete account. Type DELETE and tap Request account deletion. You can download your data first. Deletion has a 30-day recovery period; your account remains active and you can sign in during that window. To cancel before the deadline, contact [email protected]. If the operation is unavailable, contact [email protected]. See Account deletion and Data export.
Liability and governing details
To the extent permitted by law, use reasonable care when relying on third-party event information, directions, invitations, and calendar availability. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that consumer law does not allow us to limit. Dutch law applies; the courts of Amsterdam have jurisdiction.
If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. We may update these terms for service or legal changes and will update the date above. Questions: [email protected].
