Delete your Locol account

You must be signed in to request deletion in the current iOS app:

1. Open Account.
2. Open Account & sign-in.
3. Choose Delete account.
4. Optionally use Download your data first.
5. Type DELETE.
6. Tap Request account deletion.

The request starts a 30-day recovery period. Your account remains active and you can sign in during that window. To cancel before the deadline, contact [email protected]. After the recovery period, account and content are purged subject to legal obligations, disputes, and necessary deletion records. A completed-deletion tombstone without personal data may remain for 730 days; address-free completion-notification evidence may remain for 90 days.

If the in-app action is unavailable or does not complete, email [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge your request within 2 business days and resolve a rights request within 30 calendar days, or explain a lawful extension.
