Organizer Terms

These terms apply when you submit a public event or agenda page to Locol, operated by Wesley Koot. They cover your contribution, alongside the Terms of Use and Privacy notice.

Authority

You organize the event or operate the agenda, or are authorized to submit it. Email confirmation verifies mailbox access; it does not verify venue ownership.

Content permission

You grant Locol non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, display, crop or resize, shorten and translate submitted content for event listings, related share cards and event communications. Permission to other parties is limited to processors performing these tasks. Public use ends when the contribution is withdrawn or no longer listed; a private record may remain for the retention or legal period stated in our Privacy notice. We preserve supplied rights credits where applicable.

Rights

You have permission for the text and any image, including photographer and portrait rights. Do not submit material you cannot authorize.

Accuracy and changes

Keep dates, times, location, links and status accurate. Use your private manage link promptly for changes or cancellations. You may stop submitting and request withdrawal at any time.

Review

A person reviews every submission at launch. We may correct formatting, categorize, request changes, refuse, hide or remove content. We explain the reason, affected content or revision, and the factual or terms basis. You can ask us to reconsider by emailing the support address below with your submission reference. Approval does not guarantee immediate availability in the app.

Eligible events

Submit public events at identifiable real-world places, open to the public under stated access and age rules. Private parties, unlawful or hateful material, sexually explicit content and pure product advertisements are not eligible. An 18+ restriction alone does not make a lawful cultural event ineligible.

Tickets and responsibilities

Locol does not sell tickets, collect attendee registrations or process event payments. Booking, sales, refunds, permits and event safety remain with the organizer or provider. A listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee that an event will occur.

Placement

Submission is free and does not guarantee inclusion, position, reach or attendance. Listings depend on the viewer’s area, date and category filters, event timing and the available event details. Some separately arranged placements may be labelled Promoted. A submitted listing is not automatically a promoted placement.

Statistics

If you choose weekly statistics emails, we report aggregate recorded activity. We share no app-user identities or attendee or contact lists. Small groups are suppressed, unavailable measurements are labelled, and statistics are not attendance. You can stop these emails without withdrawing a listing.

Privacy and retention

We use your contact details for verification, moderation, listing changes and the statistics mail you choose. The Privacy notice explains retention, providers, rights and contact routes.

Boost

Existing Boost arrangements are separate. These submission terms add no paid offer, payment or booking service.

For review questions, reconsideration, unlawful content or rights notices, email support@locolapp.xyz. Include the event or source link, submission reference if available, what should change and why. We review notices and respond. Please do not send passwords or private manage links.
